I have had this palette for so long now; it’s about time I shared it with the world.
I have been LEGIT obsessed with the Revolution Collabs. It started with SophDoesNails 1st Palette, which is still a go to favourite today. When Carmi and Tammi’s collabs arrived, I was so excited BUT I could not get my hands on them AT ALL! It seems so hard to get a hold of in Hull unless I want to order it online. Call me old fashioned but I love going into the shop, experiencing good customer service and finding other surprising little bits. This approach, however, puts me behind the times with other bloggers!
Anyway, back to Carmi! This is the front of the packaging. Simple and classy 🙂
This palette is the same size as most of Revolution’s eye palettes but as Carmi only placed 10 eyeshadows, they are larger than the pan sizes we are used to. This does not make it any less of a brilliant buy because the colour choice is excellent. I’ll insert some swatches below. What’s also notable is the two lovely, blinding highlights included in this palette. We all know Carmi loves himself a highlight 🖤🧡
They’re not the most pigmented shadows I’ve ever worked with but the colour pay off is decent and, actually, due to the boldness of the shades, the pigmentation makes those darker, more intense colours easier to blend.
I created two looks using this palette. The first look was a copy of the look Soph did on her YouTube channel (Search for @sophdoesnails on YouTube – she’s a total babe! 💗)
Shades used: XXI, morning call, #uwelcome and Valeria.
Secondly, I created a simple spring look using Bibi and Yellow Heart.
Overall, this palette provides excellent value for money, lovely shade range and it is the perfect travel companion! I really didn’t think I would like this at first but I 💛 it and I was converted into a Carmi fan too! Check Carmi out on YouTube and Insta (CarmiMUA)
I would love to know what you guys think of this palette and these looks!
