So, I bought this from Amazon at around £9. It’s a little more than I’d pay for a budget foundation but less than I pay for my high end bases so a good middle ground. I actually bought this actually as lots of bloggers and you tubers have suggested that this foundation is actually a great dupe for the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, which I wholeheartedly agree with.
First of all, the formula. Smooth and luxurious, it feels beautiful on my skin. Unfortunately, as it is very liquidy, I personally feel that the coverage is about medium. I like full coverage foundations so I had to wear 2 layers of this to be happy. In saying that, this foundation is clearly buildable and you don’t get tide marks.
Then it’s the blending. If you out it straight onto a beauty blender, it basically swallows it all which is annoying. I found the best way to apply this is to place on the face using your hands then using a mixture of a face brush followed by a damp beauty blender for those hard to reach places.
I have dry/normal skin and Revlon have catered for this but they also sell a version for oily and combination skin. Overall, I’m impressed with this foundation. I’m not sure it’s my long term, go to foundation due to the coverage issues I mentioned but I highly recommend giving this a go if you like naturally smooth looking skin. Minimal effort required.
